Top player: Derek Jeter.  Working the "best player/best team" theme here, in the absence of an outstanding candidate.  This is the year Jeter should have won, with a 114-win team.
#1 Derek Jeter, #2 Albert Belle, #3 Alex Rodriguez, #4 Ken Griffey Jr., #5 Nomar Garciaparra, #6 Ivan Rodriguez.

Top pitcher: Roger Clemens, easily.
#1 Roger Clemens, #2 Pedro Martinez, #3 Kenny Rogers, #4 David Cone, #5 Chuck Finley.

Top rookie: Ben Grieve, although Magglio Ordonez would have the better career.

Top manager: Joe Torre. It's tough to win 114 games.
